LPS-Branch Kidzangoni School 

Welcome to the newest addition to Mekaela Academies—the LPS-Branch Kidzangoni School, our ninth center of excellence! Nestled in the charming Shamu village, right behind the Ream fueling station, this online learning satellite campus is a beacon of modern education.

The school emerged as a response to the successful broadcast of live lessons through Mekaela Online Academy, which was established to ensure that students could continue learning from the comfort of their homes during the COVID-19 school closures.

In 2022, Mekaela Academies partnered with Kidzangoni E.V to bring live lessons to their bush school in the heart of Shamu Village. Here, students benefit from top-notch education delivered by highly qualified teachers, or “digitutors,” with the support of a backup teacher to maintain class engagement and control.

Thanks to the success of this online learning model, LPS-Branch Kidzangoni School has expanded from three to six classes over three years. The increasing demand for enrollment has led to the construction of a second stream at LPS-Branch Kidzangoni, set to open its doors in January 2026. This new wing promises to provide children with quality education at an affordable rate.
