Nestled along the scenic Likoni-Lungalunga road, Mekaela Likunda School is a mixed day and boarding primary school, a beacon of academic brilliance and holistic development. As the second school established under the Mekaela Academies banner in 2000, Likunda School was born out of the need to accommodate the growing demand from Manuel Alexander School.
The school has a separate Pre -school unit, Lower primary block and upper primary block. This separation ensures a dedicated attention and child care of children in their respective age group.

Our state-of-the-art boarding facilities provide a safe and nurturing environment for both boys and girls, making Mekaela Likunda School a true home away from home. We are particularly proud of our fully furnished Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) Centre, which offers a warm and conducive space for our youngest learners to thrive.
