Mekaela Academies' Silver Jubilee Celebrations

Mekaela Academies marked their 25th Anniversary, since the school was founded, with pomp and colour.

And there was cake...

The celebrations were held in all the schools, with students, parents, staff, and the management being in attendance.

To mark the day and etch it in the history books, trees were planted across the seven (7) Mekaela Schools.

Mekaela Academies was founded in 1996 by Stefan & Micki Wentzel, Frank Muther, Jeremiah Murugi, and Elijah Musili who started out as the Headteacher and rose to become the current Managing Director. In a quarter of a century, the school has grown to have seven schools under its wings spread across Ukunda, Diani and Kombani.

Mekaela Academies is all about diversity.
The Parents also planted a tree.

The MD in his remarks acknowledged that the success of Mekaela Academies has been due to a good working relationship with staff, parents, students, alumni, donors, the community, and the County Government of Kwale.
